This processor has a thermal design power (TDP) of 125 watts while the flagship 16 core processors from AMD have only 105 watts. The higher the TDP, the greater will be the built-up heat. You will have to employ better thermal management measures.

Besides these, the Intel Core i5-11600k hasn’t seen any greater improvements from its previous generation range of CPUs. They still employ the age-old 14 nm technology, while AMD, on the other hand, shifted to the 7 nm process.
